Card readable and writable in the internal MMC reader. (lspci attached) Card then removed and inserted into Kingston MultiCard USB peripheral. System fails to recognize and mount the card. Card is known good. Card plus this Kingston reader works fine on WinXPpro system 2GB SD cards work fine with both the internal and Kingston readers Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Attach Kingston FCR-HS219/1 card reader 2.Insert Patriot 16GB SDHC Class10 memory Card 3.System fails to recognize and mount card. Actual Results: Messages to /var/log/messages and dmesg. Memory device not mounted Expected Results: Memory recognized, mounted and announced by Device Notifier I have same results on a desktop platform, same OS version. Card inserted into Rosewil multicard reader (internal, USB interface).
