I am having this exact bug occur. I share the reaction that Frans does to <a
href="https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=835277#c26">Comment 26</a>.
The Kernel-firmware appears to be already installed. The network card on this
laptop is a Broadcom bcm43225. There seems to be some controversy over which
driver/firmware to use in the community.
Fortunately, there appears to have been a successful community <a
href="https://forums.opensuse.org/content/157-broadcom-firmware-needed-b43-but-i-have-no-network-easierwork-around.html">workaround</a>
for the drivers/firmware. However, this is only useful AFTER one has
successfully completed the installation process. Those of us still stuck in a
hanging (permanently) installation, are left in the dark.
Any suggestions on getting around this installation issue?
