Some more details.
After posting the bug, I have been still trying to figure out what's wrong and
if there's any other options to fix the issue.
When I experienced the issues described above, I have been booting my machine
with the following kernel parameters in addition to the ones set by default:
intel_idle.max_cstate=0 acpi_osi="Linux"
I have actually tried working on an issue I have with suspend to RAM not
working correctly and hence the parameters.
When I remove the acpi_osi="Linux" from the boot args list, everything works as
expected and I can't reproduce the issue. The intel_idle.max_cstate=0 is needed
for "s2ram -f -a1" to work.
Do you still want me to add the "acpi_osi" parameter back in and run the tests?
Thanks!
Regards,
mike
