They used to work in the exact same setup with OpenSuSE 11.3. Looks like vmtoolsd is running but when I attempt to restart it I get this: # /etc/init.d/vmtoolsd restart Shutting down vmtoolsd killproc: cannot stat /usr/bin/vmware-user: No such file or directory FATAL: Module vmmemctl not found. Starting vmtoolsd FATAL: Module vmmemctl not found. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install OpenSuSE 11.4 inside VMWare Player 2. Try to copy some text from the VM and paste it in the host machine 3. Or try to resize the VMWare Player window Actual Results: Clipboard sharing doesn't work Automatic screen resizing doesn't work Expected Results: Clipboard sharing has to work both ways.
