https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=840845 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=840845#c0 Summary: pulseaudio 4.0+git crashes gnome-settings-daemon Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.1 Milestone 4 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: dimstar@opensuse.org ReportedBy: coolo@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: lnussel@suse.com, tiwai@suse.com, vuntz@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Vuntz and lnussel debugged the crash of gnome-settings-daemon we see in openqa tests of build 719 The cause is pulseaudio calling "update_card" (from memory, sorry) with an info struct that has n_profiles=4 but only the n_profile[0] being a valid pointer. Reverting to pulseaudio 4.0 from M4 fixed the problem - this is what I will do in factory too, I detached multimedia:libs/pulseaudio before, so you can fix it there. I suggest not to take git, but cherry pick the bluez5 patches you need. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
