The interesting lines are those associated with kworker/0:0, as indicated by
the powertop output in comment #4, and it looks like the majority of them
are related to the TTY layer.
To summarize, it looks like some TTY layer activity on your machine causes
excessive wakeups to appear which in turn makes the CPU idle driver be
invoked very often.
However, I have no idea what's the source of the TTY layer activity
in question.
Also, I have no idea how to debug it any further (one possibility would be
to try without X and see if the issue continues, check if unloading some
drivers helps etc.).
