--- Comment #4 from Stefan Dirsch
(II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules//extensions/libglx.so (II) Module glx: vendor="NVIDIA Corporation" compiled for 4.0.2, module version = 1.0.0 Module class: X.Org Server Extension ABI class: X.Org Server Extension, version 0.1 (II) NVIDIA GLX Module 169.12 Thu Feb 14 18:34:02 PST 2008
Wrong location (no idea where this comes from). It should be used this one instead: /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/updates/extensions/libglx.so
(II) LoadModule: "nvidia" (II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules//drivers/nvidia_drv.so (II) Module nv: vendor="X.Org Foundation" compiled for 7.2.0, module version = 2.1.3 Module class: X.Org Video Driver ABI class: X.Org Video Driver, version 1.2
This is the wrong driver. It's the nvidia dummy module, which is just the nv driver. It should be used this one instead /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/updates/drivers/nvidia_drv.so ==> messed up system, which you didn't notice before the update for some reason. Please run nvidia-installer --uninstall rpm -e x11-video-nvidiaG01 --noscripts Then reinstall the x11-video-nvidiaG01 package. Let me know if this helps. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
