This works significantly better on 64-bit openSUSE-11.1 and 11.2 on same laptop, although drop outs still seen there (but less). WinXP on same laptop has no drop outs. Router in use has solid connections with other PCs via wireless. Initially I tried connecting via network manager which failed. I then went to YaST > Network devices and connected via the traditional method. Was able to access Internet via firefox for a short time. However shortly there after connection dropped. Will attach dmesg via attachment. Signal is strong as less than 6 meters from wireless router. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Just connect with wireless and drops always occur 2. 3. Actual Results: Always get drop outs after wireless connection. Expected Results: Expect continuous connection with no drop outs. 64-bit KDE OpenSUSE-11.3 (KDE4 liveCD) milestone-4 wireless for an Intel Corporation Ultimate N WiFi Link 5300 AGN is intermittent with significant drop outs, often requiring manual intervention to restart connection.
