I have installed KDE cd. When i want to show information about system via "My computer" (KDE kio slave sysinfo:/ ),i have to wait about 1 min. until showing info. And this same is via Kickoff menu also.I can't start any programs, because it looks like frozen. But, when i change Kickoff menu to classic KDE menu, menu will work without any problems.It doesn't freeze. I had to choose severity blocker, because it blockes me in work.
