https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=333119 Summary: opensuse-updater-gnome not informed about network state Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dominique.leuenberger@tmf-group.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Hi, Whenever I start a gnome session, the updater applet get's started and after that I have to connect to my WLAN (wlan connection is always a bit later, because I have to provide the passphrase). In the meantime, the applet starts the checks and fails out to find updates (no network connection I assume). It seems the applet never finds updates by itself. Would it be possible to have the applet be informed (probably via D-BUS) that there is now a network connection available and a check would thus make sense? Any logfiles I could provide? Or anything else? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
