Does comment #13 really explain why the clock during boot is first correct,
then wrong, then correct again (See boot.msg)? The reboot entry for last is
written by init (I guess), right after initrd finished. Shouldn't the time be
corrected already then? The kernel not being able to handle the RTC's time zone
is a weak excuse, especially as I've solved the problem years ago (See
http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~ntp/ntpfaq/NTP-s-trouble.htm#Q-LINUX-CMOS-UTC).
