ATM, the kernel spams /var/log/messages with
mei_me 0000:00:03.0: unexpected reset: dev_state = RESETTING mei_me 0000:00:03.0: reset: connect/disconnect timeout.
Every 5 seconds. I'm running kernel-desktop-3.11.6-4.1.x86_64.
mei_me seems annoying people on some machines. I wanted to suggest to blacklist the module, but it's built in on 13.1 kernel. Ouch. Try instead the below: echo 0000:00:03.0 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/mei_me/unbind then the driver will be unloaded. You can put it in somewhere in a boot script like /etc/init.d/rc.local as a quick workaround. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
