In fact there is a problem, in other words it reguards partitions (for example
OpenSUSE "/" and "/home"). Indeed, it's not possible to mount them
automatically. It's necesssary to edit fstab manually inserting the proper
parameters.
If We use KDE in "sysinfo" We visualize the partition's icon but since it's not
in fstab, it's impossible to open it.
It actually happens either on my laptot or on my desktop. As far as the laptop:
- had1 (primary partition OpenSUSE 11)
hda 6,7 (logic partition OpenSUSE 11.0)
hda (primary partition OpenSUSE 11.1)
As far as the desktop:
- had--> OpenSUSE 11.0
- hdb--> OpenSUSE 11.1 (test)
I'm able to visualize hda from KDE but I can't open it.
I think that it should be possible to instert such things within fstab
automatically since new users are not able to do that!
thanks
