https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=213852 ------- Comment #19 from mt@novell.com 2006-11-15 04:33 MST ------- Hmm... This happens, because we removed an workarround in Bug 197107 from zypp, that was checking if there is mountable filesystem using libblkid and it seems that I didn't tested it propelly or it changed. dmesg shows: hda: hda1 hda2 hdb: unknown partition table hdc: unknown partition table there is a link for the ISO image: "/dev/disk/by-label/SU1010.001 -> ../../hdb" and "udevinfo -q all -e" shows the mapped ISO as well. The 'phy' mapped DVD/CDROM (with a Dual-Layer DVD inside) is in /sys/block but appears only in hwinfo output with "Size: 4154832 sectors a 2048 bytes" in my case. The "vol_id" utility shows informations for both: root@xanthos2:~ # vol_id /dev/hdb ID_FS_USAGE=filesystem ID_FS_TYPE=iso9660 ID_FS_VERSION= ID_FS_UUID= ID_FS_LABEL=SU1010.001 ID_FS_LABEL_SAFE=SU1010.001 root@xanthos2:~ # vol_id /dev/hdc ID_FS_USAGE=filesystem ID_FS_TYPE=iso9660 ID_FS_VERSION= ID_FS_UUID= ID_FS_LABEL=SU1010.001 ID_FS_LABEL_SAFE=SU1010.001 what IMO means, some of the udev helper scriupts / rules does not work. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
