Dear OpenSUSE artwork members,
At our last IRC gathering we have chosen a new default wallpaper for the next release of the OS, and I took on a task of preparing it for the release. I took a shot at it and I think it's looking a little better. Now there aren't that many changes done, but for what I did here is an account with explanations: a) the overall color tone was adjusted - the original had a nice "old photo" look to it due to slightly washed palette used; very nice touch in itself, but I'm not sure we want a brand new release to look somewhat "washed" b) texture was added to compensate for Inkscape gradient deficiency (Inkscape can not do perfect gradients, using step algorithm instead) c) the shapes were smoothed out - purely cosmetic touch to make them look even more lightray-like
There may be a few more tweaks I'll put on this, or Andy may come with an idea to make it even better. Please let me know what you think.
