I have tried turning off all the on-board peripherals appart from the usb controller that I need for my mouse. It hasn't made any difference. I also tried the switch hdc=cdrom suggested in the manual, since my CDROM is a master on the second ide interface, and there is only 1 hard disk on the primary ide channel. However that made no noticeable difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Jeremy Sonander. Saros Technology Limited. The Spirella Building, Bridge Road, Letchworth, SG6 4ET.
