I was trying to compile Gaussian 03 (mostly fortran, compiled with PGI) in 32-bit mode, (SuSE 9.0, x86_64), because it is currently faster then the 64-bit version. However, I ran into a stack overflow, because it seems that ld adjusts the stack limit to the old default 2MB. The
There's no 2 MB stack limit for single threaded applications...
current ld does not support the "--stack" flag. How can I change the stack limit then?
