Just curious. Wasn't it the case that when a kernel update was done for openSUSE, eventually a new nvidia rpm that matches would make an appearance? Was that the case? If so, is it still the case? http://download.opensuse.org/update/12.1 contains: i586/kernel-*-3.1.9-1.4.1.i586.rpm ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/12.1 contains: i586/nvidia-*_k3.1.0_1.2-13.1.i586.rpm In fact, I have this combo running on my system and all seems ok. I was just surprised that the kernel versions were so different: 3.1.9 versus 3.1.0. Inquiring minds and all... -- Yours sincerely, Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Office: Int +46 10-615 60 20 Mobile: Int +46 70-815 1696 roger.oberholtzer@ramboll.se ________________________________________ Ramböll Sverige AB Krukmakargatan 21 P.O.
