I have a suggestion that would make supporting yast way easier:

Most successful computer languages have debuggers. Why doesn't Yast have one?
Because it's not a successful language, SCNR.
YaST developers are real hackers, doing debug prints only.
SCNR !
Actually, there never was a strong need for a debugger. It was discussed a few times, but never got sufficient traction/priority to get implemented.
Actually, there *was* a debugger, but with the great interpreter rewrite for SLES9, it got neglected and dropped. Anyway, YCP is still going to be around for some time, and adding some debugging facilities may be worth the effort. Roberto, what would you find useful? Please keep in mind that our focus will be elsewhere, so distill what is most important. -- Martin Vidner, YaST developer http://en.opensuse.org/User:Mvidner Kuracke oddeleni v restauraci je jako fekalni oddeleni v bazenu
