It seems that we cannot introduce a Splitter without all UIs knowing about it. (Or can't we? `VBox( `opt(`splitter), ...)?) But then it should be easy to just fall back to an ordinary Box until we have time to implement the Splitter. And in curses, it would not be particularly easy to handle, but I can imagine navigating to a handle using Tab and then using the arrows.
