Hi Egbert,
I'm sorry to say that the (corrected) patch doesn't work for me at all. Now even my monitor connected via DVI stopped working. Are you sure that you have the HDMI version of the mainboard? There are four versions of the Asus M2A mainboard. The HDMI version (the one I have) comes with a HDMI/AV/S-PDIF module that has to be plugged into the PCIe slot of the mainboard.
That's exactly what I've got. However my initial investigation wasn't thorough enough. The patch I've sent was ineed bogus. It ineed looks like as if these two connectors are connected to the same output. However something seems to prevent that both outputs receive a signal at the same time. I will look into this.
I attached the Xorg.log when I tried to use just a single monitor via DVI.
Thanks! Sorry for the trouble. Cheers, Egbert. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
