Then they might be the result of an instable line buffer. Though the reason why this happens is unclear ATM if you haven't run fglrx before.
And to paramount the problems, I can't switch anymore the resolution with ctrl+alt+KP_+.
This doesn't work with RandR at all. Shortcoming of the underlying implementation in the server.
In fact I don't want/need RandR. I saw in the log that it wasn't activated. Can I turn it off more completely ?
Option "noRandr" in the Device section. The comment about not being activated is irrelevant and wrong. Another shortcoming.
