Hi
I'm not sure, but i think that this could be an RS600 instead of an RS690, and that therefor you will need to use the -ati driver. Will verify with ATI.
Thanks.
However, the -ati driver does not seem to work for me at the moment either. It does not detect my graphics card either. I still get the following error in the log.
(EE) No devices detected.
Cheers,
Ryan Young There's a rather different reason for that: -ati driver developers are not doing a proper days work, as i see no mention of RS600 in their driver.
From the first few days of our driver: { RHD_RS600, 0x7941, RES_SHARED_VGA }, /* Radeon Xpress 1200 */ { RHD_RS600, 0x7942, RES_SHARED_VGA }, /* Radeon Xpress 1200 (M) */
This was removed as RS600 is R4xx hw. Maybe you should ask some serious questions on the ati mailinglist, and then also mention the fact that there are tons upon tons of open bugs on that driver atm. :) Luc Verhaegen.
