laptop/xrandr/xrandr: Configure crtc 0 failed

-> The external displays goes off for a short while but then comes back with 1280x720

I attached the Xorg.0.log with --logverbose 7

As suggested, I retried with the latest git:

9024701762ea282e5f861e8399b194b224bf5d2b

I used this command sequence

$ xrandr --output DVI-D_1/TMDS_A --mode 1280x720 --output PANEL/LVDS --off
$ sleep 10
$ xrandr --output DVI-D_1/TMDS_A --off --output PANEL/LVDS --preferred

with 2 setups:

- Panel & external display connected at server startup: works OK, I can switch between external and panel display without problems. Good :-)

- Only panel connected at server startup: doesn't work. After first command panel goes off but external display doesn't switch on. The second command restores the panel though.

I've attached Xorg.0.log from both cases with --logverbose 7. Hope this helps...

Regards,

Stefan
