Shame on me. I've done this several times before, but apparently I cannot get used to it.
When I first used the new patched pktsetup I also had a hard time to find out how to use it correctly. When you run pktsetup without parameters you get a usage message that says:
pktsetup dev_name /dev/cdrom
From that you can guess that you can substitute an arbitrary name for dev_name, but it's not quite obvious. An additional README or Changelog entry would be extremely helpful.
I forgot to update the man-page when I wrote the udftools patch. There is some documentation in linux/Documentation/cdrom/packet-writing.txt, but it doesn't explicitly say that dev_name has to be a valid filename. I'll fix the man-page and submit the patch for inclusion in the udftools cvs. -- Peter Osterlund - petero2@telia.com http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340
