Sorry, that's LXDE
The thing is, this is typically a desktop issue. If it affects only one app, then interaction of that app with the desktop. On other desktops it can be configured. I'm not too familiar with LXDE, so I do not know how to do it.
Thanks, Carlos. I don't know much about desktops, nor how they are involved. Neither Firefox nor Claws Mail belong to any particular desktop as far as I know, and I've no idea which of the two, if any, are responsible for my problem.
As I said, this used to work and I have changed no relevant settings to my knowledge, so it seems it must be a regression. I just have no idea how to set about finding its cause so I can report it and hopefully get it fixed.
Cheers, Dave
PS Firefox has updated since I first reported this issue but the problem is still there
Hi Dave,
Have you tried strarting Firefox as a new user and therefore without any baggage, 'firefox -P' ?
Hi Basil, I hadn't so I just did. It makes no difference. Good idea though, thanks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
