As for the "firewall" it is always there. I asume the iptable mods are loaded in the kernel. You should write your OWN iptable rules

Conversation taking a side trip to security. A newbie question although have used linux for 10 years. I use the firewall that comes with my Apple Airport Extreme wireless router and also use NAT with my home network. I don't think that I've ever been compromised. Any comments on this assumption or the usefulness of this approach? Thanks -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
