You're welcome.
OpenSuSE version 12.3 x64, KDE Version 4.10.5 "release 1"
The problem I am encountering is that while it appears the the openVPN client is making a connection to my openVPN server, when using the KDE Networkmanager to establish the VPN connection, I am not able to send or receive any communication across the link. I can't even ping the server (which is also my gateway computer on the network which is what I am trying to connect to.) I am using a TUN0 connector. Executing a route command on both the server and the client does show that the VPN connection is established, when using the KDE Networkmanager to establish the VPN connection. So this caused me to seek help on the openVPN forum, where I was told they do not support the KDE NEtworkmanager and that I should not be using it.
Have you disabled or properly configured your firewall? Is the default route properly configured? Please post the relevant entries in /var/log/Networkmanager.
