I have a need to boot Debian from iSCSI root, which doesn't appear to be well supported. There is a project init4boot, but this seems to be quite old. As openSUSE supports iSCSI quite well, it appeared to me that I could probably boot a system with an openSUSE kernel and initrd, and have a Debian root ? I'll be testing this tomorrow anyway, so this is more of sanity check - to see if anyone's got an opniion or advice to share. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (20.0°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
