Tried to build gnome-controlcenter, but it dies claiming it needs :

There's an official update to gnome-control-center-3.10.2 in 13.1. Install that. Your gnome-control-center-3.10.1 seems to not be from the 13.1 repo.
So is there a separate repo for pkgconfig? Also don't see any 'devel packages for colord...
A requirement of 'pkgconfig(foo)' requires the 'foo.pc' pkgconfig file, which should come with the -devel rpm. In the case of colord, you need the libcolord-devel package. Search for "Requires" in yast with 'pkgconfig(colord)' as search term.
Why do I have rpm colord 1.1.2 but pkgconfig needs 0.1.34???
You mixed up packages from various repos. -dnh -- What once was muesli is now of a colour and (from the looks) consistency unheard of in dairy produce.
