In opensuse 13.1, KDE 4.11.2, when I attempt tp open kontact it segfaults. Background: Due to a compromised file(s) in the ~/.kde4 folder kontact had to be removed and re-installed. I first used Yast2 for the re-install. Upon attempting to open kontact it displayed a segfault message. I then deleted kontact and re-installed through the online search (http://software.opensuse.org/search) system but had the same results. During both install sessions I also performed a system restart to avoid any other problems. I also logged out and back in of KDE several times. Segfault bug has been reported to bugzilla as bug 861725. Any suggestions or ideas why this is happening? Thanks, Tom -- Never be ashamed to ask for information.
