That doesn't make it right of Attachmate to demand this data in the first place. For a bug report for an Open Source community project, no personal data is neccessary. And having to lie just for filing a bug report is absurd!

Appears your paranoia is selectable when convenient.
What has not wanting to give out my home address and telephone number to some arbitrary company, which doesn't need to know, have to do with paranoia? And what has the fact that I have email-addresses and a website to do with that? That smells a bit like somebody is making up fake arguments to distract from Attachmate's hunger for data - which is not really astonishing, considering that they offer among others "Enterprise fraud management", so they probably try to get people's data any way they can... -S -- (o_ Stefan Gofferje | SCLT, MCP, CCSA //\ Reg'd Linux User #247167 | VCP #2263 V_/_ Heckler & Koch - the original point and click interface -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
