This new network interface naming scheme is going to drive me up the wall :-)
With 13.1 M1 :
system A: "enp13s0" and "enp14s0"
system B: "enp3s1f0", "enp3s1f1", "enp6s2"

Hmm, I got a 404 on that one.
Works for me.
Wasn't this discussed on opensuse-factory a little while ago? What was the outcome - that we make sure people can retain the ethX naming scheme if they so desire?
Yes, they can disable it. Described in the link ...
but I thought those interface names were just hilarious.
They are just as good sequence of characters as any other. Why do you automatically assume that eth or wlan are any more meaningful? Just because you happen to speak English? There are languages that do not even use Latin alphabet. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
