Using a older monitor which already has a tiny burn spot. Have the screen saver installed to start running after 10 minutes of inactivity. Running VLC or any other video viewer is now regularly interrupted by the screen-saver.
From the past I remember that there would be a possibility to tell the screen- saver not to run when some programs like VLC do their work. Found it nowhere. Is it still a possibility or should I just stop the screen- saver when using a video viewer?
