BTW, I started using Calibre with 10.1 and have used it up thru 11.4. Using Goyal's recommended install has never failed to give me a working Calibre regardless of what Yast installed. It even worked on Ubuntu. That's not FUD that's reality.
Agreed, Calibre is just astoundingly good software. Click that HEART button once in a while. I've never understood people complaining about Thunderbird 3 when 12 was out, or running ancient Calibre releases when a mouse click gets you a new one. Its all Python for pete sake, and the installer works perfectly. There is nothing wrong with getting packages directly from sources you trust, and mindlessly sticking to official distribution sites is pretty much contrary to the whole purpose of linux. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
