Apologies for the private email, I had intended the post to go to the list and didn't catch the misclick before sending. I know this is the opensuse list but thank you. As I said, I had noticed this change a while ago on the Windows Firefox versions we use and now saw it on the one linux (Opensuse) box we let update adblock. I was trying to share that information in case it was useful, particularly since the original poster mentioned doubleclick and there are several doubleclick entries in the default whitelist of Adblock.

I run the current Adblock Plus (2.0.3) and I can quite easily examine
the filter list. So I've no idea what you're doing.

Yes, we can still examine the filter list, but the easily accessible pop up box with checks beside each filter that let you choose to disable the very long section of automatically whitelisted sites is no longer there.
