Boy I have to agree with that. Thunderbird walks away from its add-ons faster than anyone. You would think that the popular ones would be upgraded in lock step. Yet it almost ends up being a month or so with only part of your add-ons working with each new release.
If you look in Help>Troubleshooting Information>Support Web Site you will eventually discover an extension called Add-on Compatibility Reporter. It's available for both Firefox and Thunderbird. I tried it, but it doesn't work for me... :-( All my disabled add-ons are still disabled and there doesn't seem to be way to enable them...
Sorry to read this. Seems that I am just lucky to have all of my extensions to work using ACR. I guess that it also depends on which extensions one has installed.
