You can view my description as a "pro" for software RAID, sure. That's what freedom's about. But I don't in any way advocate the use of software RAID -- I strongly discourage it. I think DM raid might be able to mount some hardware RAID volumes. This might come in handy if you have a failure that wasn't properly planned for. -- Med Vennlig Hilsen, A.
