[opensuse] /etc/mtab not fully populated with kernel 2.6.37 from tumbleweed

The subject pretty much says it all. Installing kernel 2.6.37 from tumbleweed mucked up the system to where only /proc and /boot are shown in mtab (consequently other tools that rely on it break). Is anyone else seeing this? Any ideas of a fix?
