Hello;
I'm amazed but I've not installed any software on this SuSE 9.3 box in a very long time and I've totally forgotten how. I have an Adobe flashplayer plug-in to install (for Firefox) and I have an rpm or a tar.gz file sitting on my desktop. I thought I would let YAST do it but it doesn't "see" the .rpm or the .tar.
I suppose I could install the .rpm from a terminal but I'm open to better suggestions.
Thanks.
Upgrade to the soon to be released 11.3 version? A lot has changed since the 9.3 dinosaur died. Short of that use the command line: rpm -i NameOfRPM.rpm -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
