I am using a new Toshiba A505-6035 laptop and after jumping through a lot of hoops compiling kernels with the copy_dsdt patch in the past few weeks to get Linux running well on it, I was thrilled that a 2.6.35 kernel included the repositories worked without having to do anything, it fixed every issue fromn usb ports missing, to wireless network not working and power management not working.
