So, how can I get rid of the who-started-it sorting?

so you didn't explore the other explanation, "Aggregating", as that would
be it.  You may need to stand on a ladder.

He can't find where that agregating thing is. He said so. Not in the "view"

The OP said  "View -> Message List -> Aggregation", but maybe that's too
hard, or *maybe* there is a "View" menu that his hidden somewhere that I
cannot find  :^)  Is he looking for "Aggravate", maybe?

There is also the exact same options under the Settings > Appearance >
Message list... more fine grained as well.

Ummm.. that is.. it's that way in 4.4.... is Stan using 4.3.5? Is it
different there?
