OK. I tried vidtune, which gave me this:
(1) Vendor: --> LCD, Model: 1680X1050@60HZ Num hsync: 1, Num vsync: 1 hsync range 0: 30.00 - 66.00 vsync range 0: 50.00 - 61.00 "1680x1050" 146.25 1680 1784 1960 2240 1050 1053 1059 1089 -hsync +vsync
In xorg.conf I have this:
(2) Section "Modes" Identifier "Modes[0]" EndSection
Where/how does the stuff from (1) go into (2)?
The last line in xvidtune output is modeline. Copy it into xorg.conf like that: Section "Modes" Identifier "Modes[0]" Modeline "1680x1050" 146.25 1680 1784 1960 2240 1050 1053 1059 1089 -hsync +vsync EndSection So now when X selects the mode 1680x1050, it will adjust the settings according to this line. -- Mark Goldstein -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
