Listmates, As 10.3 winds down and the repositories disappear, if you need enlightenment, it is still easy to build and install. I have a spare drive for my laptop that still has a 10.3 install on it and I didn't want to do a full install of something latter, but I still wanted enlightenment. The repositories are gone, so I looked at the enlightenment site which directs you to sourceforge for download of the packages. You get the packages here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/enlightenment/files/ You will want to grab the following: e16-1.0.1.tar.gz e16-docs-0.16.8.0.2.tar.gz e16keyedit-0.6.tar.gz e16-themes-1.0.0.tar.gz (you can find lots of others on the net) epplets-0.12.tar.gz Currently the OSS and Update repositories are still available so be sure to install imlib2, imlib2-devel, libcdaudio, and libcdaudio-devel (also available in libclanbomber). If you can't get imlib2 or the devel pkg, you can get those from the same sourceforge link. imlib2-1.4.2.tar.bz2 imlib2_loaders-1.4.2.tar.bz2 untar e16, epplets, e16keyedit, and e16-docs to a directory of your choice. (just put the themes in /usr/share/e16/themes after the install). You will have a directory like this: e16-1.0.1 e16-docs-0.16 e16keyedit-0.6 epplets-0.12 Just do the following to build and install e16: cd e16-1.0.1 ./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --bindir=/usr/bin -- enable-mans make make install epplets-0.12 ./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --bindir=/usr/bin -- enable-mans make make install e16keyedit-0.6 ./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --bindir=/usr/bin -- enable-mans make (** then just copy e16keyedit to /usr/bin) e16-docs-0.16 ./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --bindir=/usr/bin -- enable-mans make make install Done. Start it up rt-click and change the theme to ganymede (or whatever you like), then rt-click again -> Maintenance -> Regenerate Menus and you are done. Enjoy :p P.S. It really sucks to have the 10.3 repositories dropped just to go the where they used to be on opensuse and find 3 VERSIONS of Fedora AND 3 VERSIONS of Mandrivel, but only 2 versions of suse -- We know the Novell line -> "It's a space issue, we can't leave them up.." Really??
