A very large number of scanners work with the VueScan software, which can be licensed and downloaded here:
No Product Activation, nor will a paid-for version ever expire. But you have to pay.
Per Inge Oestmoen, Norway Thanks for the information, Per. I was not aware of ViewScan. Still, the GUI provided by the Epkowa driver is good enough for me -- and that one at least is free as in beer ;-)
