Following some KDE4 upgrade I'm now getting a regular pop-up saying that the "KTTSD" service can't be started.
I gather this is a text-to-voice service and I can't see why I should want it. I can't track down why its being requested or what component is causing this. I've tried running without Konqueror and it still happens.
Its distressing because if its not acknowledged promptly the GUI freezes. Yes, even the non_KDE applications like Firefox and thunder bird.
I've also hunted down the server using YAST and installed it, but to no avail.
How can I make this go away?
