I won't do what John suggests for a couple of good reasons * KDE should make widget placement stable when unlocked so that widgets don't run all over like roaches the instant the lock comes off. Not that I have noticed this much in 4.3.0. * Locked Widgets mode is there so that admins can really lock the desktop layout, so I'm not going to workaround it.
