Which option should I choose? Is the driver included in the new kernel?
Thanks, Lynn
First one, do not install patch:kernel-559.noarch, until ATI driver for new kernel is ready. Currently your driver is the newest in ATI repository.
New kernel version is 2.6.27.19-3.2.
Correct, please wait until new ATI drivers are available.
(Unfortunately this is a bit of a black box to us, so we cannot say when this happens).
Ciao, Marcus
The New ATI driver 9.2 was released, but causes my laptop to reboot :-(
Thanks for the warning. I need it for a laptop too. It's an Acer with a Mobility Radeon X700. Any ideas anyone? Lynn. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
