bad example before, should be:

mount /dev/sda2 /mnt
mount /dev/sda3 /mnt/home
mount -o bind /dev /mnt/dev
mount -o bind /proc /mnt/proc
mount -o bind /sys /mnt/sys
cd /mnt
chroot /mnt



The boot issue may become moot. I am updating the install right now and it
looks like it is removing 1/2 my system. We may be looking at a format and
reinstall :-(

Is this normal on the first update after a 'Update' between versions?
