During an update option (via DVD iso) to 11.1, does the update make a copy of files during the process which are supposed to be deleted on completion? I ask as I appear to have lost about 2Gb disk space from my /home partion. If a copy of files are made during update option, they would appear not to have been dleted after successful install.
A copy of home? No, I don't think so. You can search for used space with utils like kdirstat (kde), baobab (gnome) or filelight. You have to run them as root to be able to find all files. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
